Job Description

As the Test & Learn Specialist, you contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased sales by performing customer selections and target audiences for media, rewards and segmented customer communication for the regional sales markets. You work towards aligned and cross-functional goals, driving omni sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of your work. You plan, design, perform and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across media channels to generate actionable insights and give recommendations to improve targeted marketing communication and personalized customer interactions both short and long-term. You involve, educate & engage with relevant stakeholders from the Strategy & Planning team as well as Digital and Sales to implement and develop the test plan. You will be part of Region North Europe team which includes Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • You support the sales markets in the region to make the right customer selections and target audiences for the activity based on globally available segment structures in Adobe & SAS (e-mail, push, rewards, on-site - and eventually targeting in other media channels).
  • You are responsible for verifying sizes and relevance of the segments and audiences.
  • ​You are responsible for setting the right test approach for hypothesis of the various tests and communicating this towards key collaboration partners in Strategy and Planning team, Content Operations, Digital and Store sales.
  • You follow up and present findings and recommendations of the tests on a short- and long-term basis
  • You learn new tools and ways of testing media and message effectiveness towards target groups
  • You support in creating understanding of media performance and communicate in a clear way.
  • You manage and use the existing CRM customer segment structure to identify locally relevant audiences based on the global available CRM segment structure & strategies
  • You support in identifying targeting customer segments where there is a potential for activities to increase customer engagement, sales or profitability.
  • You identify opportunities, build and drive the test and learn agenda in the region and anchor with key stakeholders in Strategy and Planning team, Content Operations, Store sales and Digital team.
  • Upskill regional teams on the importance of testing, and how to interpret test results.
  • Utilize the existing media toolbox (MMM, Attribution Models) to identify where testing is needed to measure incrementality of media investments.
  • You actively learn and co-operate with global teams how to apply targeting strategies and tools to increase customer relevance and media effectiveness.

You have strong commercial focus, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You are data-driven and have a strong interest in customer behaviour and sales drivers. You have a deep interest and understanding of applied statistics to drive business growth. You can translate marketing and sales opportunities to customer target segments and design a test set-up. You enjoy working hands-on with coding and with learning new tools (e.g., SAS, Adobe Lab) and Data visualisation to perform analyses.

What you need to succeed:

  • At least 3 years of working experience with testing, experimentation, customer analytics or related roles.
  • University degree in statistics, economics, engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge, skills and interest in applied statistics and business and customer analysis.​
  • Strong data management skills – analytical, structured, ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical techniques.
  • Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and support cross-functional teams in decision-making with the ability to drive recommendations through to key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping and customer experience principles.
  • Experience working in SAS, SQL, or other programming is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Experience working in PowerBI, Tableau or other data visualization tool is highly meriting.
