Your new company 
Hays are proud to be working in partnership with an established public sector organisation based in Edinburgh who are in the market to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant for their office in Edinburgh. This role will provide great variety and training alongside an excellent salary and benefits package. 

Your new role 
In your new role you will have the ability to shape the current system's changes within the organisation,

The key elements of the role include: 

Facilitate the implementation of financial systems process changes and enhancements, ensuring effective execution.Identify areas for improvement in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and suggest enhancements.Provide daily systems support, including access management, chart of accounts maintenance, and month-end processes.Utilise risk management systems to manage and mitigate risks, ensuring the organisation is not exposed to undue risks.Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and address their concerns and issues.You will also have exposure to multiple internal projects which will provide a high level of variety for the successful candidates' monthly duties.

What you'll need to succeed 
In order to be a successful candidate in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar position, have the ability to learn about new systems and processes and be comfortable dealing with multiple internal stakeholders.
