Forseven is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate Governance Lead to play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our corporate governance framework. This role will focus on optimising the operational aspects of key governance meetings, facilitating smooth information flow, and supporting timely decision-making in alignment with the company's Delegation of Authority (DoA).This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Bicester location and Leamington Spa The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Requirements

What you'll do:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance Meeting Management:
    • Oversee the operational effectiveness of select governance meetings, identifying and implementing enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Provide comprehensive secretariat support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, consolidating pre-read materials, taking minutes, logging decisions, and tracking action items.
    • Ensure adherence to meeting protocols, governance frameworks, and best practices.
  • Information Flow & Escalation:
    • Facilitate the seamless flow of information between different levels of governance meetings.
    • Manage the escalation process for risks, issues, and change control requests from lower-tier meetings to the appropriate higher-tier forums.
    • Ensure that escalations are clearly articulated and presented in a manner that enables informed discussion and decision-making.
  • Dashboarding & Reporting:
    • Utilise corporate dashboarding and reporting resources to design and create informative dashboards tailored to the specific needs of governance meetings.
    • Present key performance indicators (KPIs), risk metrics, and other relevant data in a clear and concise manner to support effective oversight and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate governance processes.
    • Stay abreast of best practices in corporate governance and implement relevant improvements.

Who you are:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (Desirable).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate governance, company secretarial, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action item tracking.
  • Strong cross-functional integration and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proven experience in multi-level stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
  • Experience with corporate dashboarding and reporting tools is desirable.
