New Graduate Vet – Pet Doctors Guildford Hub - New   Graduate   Programme - Small Animal Vet  

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Graduate Vet to join us at the Pet Doctors Guildford Hub.

We are a well-established, busy hub of clinics with an excellent client base which will give you the opportunity to impart knowledge and develop as part of an excellent team. 

Our team of 3 FT & 3 PT vets, including our cert-holder in Cardiology, alongside our wonderful RVN's & support staff are here to welcome you into your new role, providing support and guidance as you develop on your journey with us. Not only do we work together well in practice, we also enjoy team nights out once a month, and we can't wait for you to join our next one.

Our sites are well equipped, including equipment such as dental & digital X-Rays, Ultrasound machine, Endoscope & ECG, and we are more than happy to support any certificates you wish to do in the future We are also RCVS & ISFM accredited.

We have a fantastic varied caseload, including plenty of surgical & medical cases, as well as room to expand and carry out orthopaedics. We also work alongside CVS's referral hospital, Lumbry Park, to gain advice on those more complex cases we come across practice.

The position is full time and Guildford is located in the picturesque county of Surrey and is a vibrant and historic town that offers a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. In addition, you will attend dedicated Continued Professional Development (CPD) days, supporting the development of your clinical skills and non-clinical skills, including self-leadership, teamwork, wellbeing, resilience and business, whilst also providing the opportunity for you to share experiences with fellow graduates.

Paid onboarding phase which includes a Residential. All UK travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for the Residential will be covered by CVS Salary of £35, which increases at the end of year 1 and at the end of year 2 No financial tie-in beyond completion of the programme. Professional memberships (RCVS & VDS).
