Responsibilities of a KS2teacher:

  • As a KS2teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of childrentaking their first steps in Key Stage 2 promoting teamwork andcultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
  • Teaching the Key Stage 2curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on eachindividual childs learning targets encouraging their strengths andimproving their weaknesses
  • Further developingmaths ability and introducing fractions statistics andgeometry
  • Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
  • Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents

KS2 Teacherrequirements:

  • QTS PGCEand strong academic record
  • Creative imaginativedetermined resourceful and adaptablepractitioner
  • Passionate aboutlearning
  • Able to demonstrate a track record ofsuccess within a KS2 environment
  • Able tocommunicate your passion to children andparents
  • Ability to demonstrate outstandingpractice in theclassroom
