Trainee Air Hygiene Technician

Due to continual company growth, we are now looking for a new Trainee Air Hygiene Technician to assist with Ventilation Hygiene works, fire damper inspections, Hygiene reports and general HVAC works as required. A full apprenticeship and training with industry recognised qualifications will be available to the successful candidate after a satisfactory probationary period has been completed and approved by management.

Your role and responsibilities:

● Assist with Ventilation Hygiene works

● Fire damper inspections and Hygiene reports

● Support as the 2nd Man on HVAC works

● Completing all work on in house software using an iPad

● Delivery of quality customer service to a variety of clients

Requirements

• Previous experience in a trade role, delivering high quality customer service
• Passion and dedication to develop your career within water hygiene
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
• The ability to work as part of a team, as well as on your own
• The ability to use IT equipment such as and iPad and Mobile Phone
• Excellent time-keeping
• Flexibility to travel (dependent on business needs)
• Full UK, manual, driving licence
• Experience working on water systems in buildings or with water qualifications (Desirable)

All roles at SMS require a DBS check; SMS Environmental will cover the cost of this if you do not already hold a valid DBS certificate.
