Due toa move of one of our salaried GPs we are looking for someone motivated andkeen to join our ever growing workforce.

We areoffering 4 to 6 sessions a week preferably Wed, Thurs and Friday with inclusionon the duty rota with a competitive salary and progression in the future. We are also open to consideration to a moveto Partnership in the future.

Basic salary is £10,500 per session with tiered increases based on additional duties (duty rota and trainer status).

Main duties of the job

Main duties include regular GP clinics, with inclusion in the duty doctor rota.

Additional work includes opportunity for audit work to identify ways to improve patient care. We are also willing to support development of our staff as required for the role and benefit to our patients.

We are a training practice with 5 GP Partners and 4 salaried GP's providing the highest possible standard of care to over 13,200 patients.

Job responsibilities

To work as an autonomouspractitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practicepopulation, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complyingwith the GMS contract.

Furthermore,the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Essential

Qualified GP MRCGP Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Full GMC registration National Performers List registration Appropriate defense indemnity (MPS/MDU) Eligibility to practice in the UK independently

Experience

Essential

Experience of working in a primary care environment Experience of continued professional development Experience of QOF and clinical audit Minimum of two years as a salaried GP General understanding of the GMS contract

Desirable

Experience of medicines management Experience of ICB initiatives General understanding of the PCN contract

Clinical Knowledge and Skills

Essential

Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
