EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Working within our HD Leakage department, you have the chance to join the team as a Senior Leakage DST where your main aim is to deliver effective and efficient performance management within your team. Furthermore, you will be ensuring that any potential work needed for our customers is located and resolved in a timely manner and to the highest standard for our customers.

With the end goal of achieving Hafren Dyfrdwy’s ODI Targets (performance measure), you’ll be involved in a number of daily activities, such as; managing resource (people, assets, IT and finance) and supporting your colleagues to ensure that we meet out regulatory and company targets, enabling us to deliver the highest quality experience to our customers for the lowest cost.

Plus, as our new Senior Leakage DST, you will get to utilise your Leakage and customer service skills as you will be also be managing contractors and mentoring and training our great team Please be aware, as part of this role you will be required to be part of an Out of Hours Stand by rota (Associated allowances will be paid accordingly).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE  

 Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

• You will Ensure that all work in your area of control is carried out in a manner whereby no-one gets hurt (employee, contractor or member of the public) as a result of the work we do.

• To will need to co-ordinate staff, information, and resources to enable prompt detection of leaks or consumption that affects our customers.

• You will ensure sufficient labour / plant / transport / material resources are available to carry out both planned and reactive tasks in and out of hours.

• You’ll Ensure the team are working effectively with all stakeholders, particularly with the Customer leak support team, repair teams and area Water Network Technicians.

• You’ll also Ensure regular inspections of vehicles, plant and equipment are carried out to ensure any defects are identified, reported and resolved.

• You will need a Full UK driving License as Travel across the company will be required.

• Please be aware, as part of this role you will be required to be part of an Out of Hours Stand by rota (Associated allowances will be paid accordingly).
