About the Role

As a Financial Graphics Editor at Reuters , you will:

Lead a team focused on creating daily breaking news graphics across markets, economics and companies beats Determine lines of coverage for the team in conjunction with our financial news reporters as well as the wider graphics team Manage workflows and processes for seamless integration of this content across platforms Generate story and graphics ideas from the financial and business news of the day, creating, assigning and editing these pieces as necessary Identify and report out bespoke or interesting data sets

About You

To be our Financial Graphics Editor , you will likely:

Have a proven ability to work with complex financial data in a newsroom setting and transform that data into compelling on-the-news graphics Have a proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, mapmaking software such as QGIS, programmatic data manipulation and charting skills in languages such as R or Python and front end web development skills as well as Datawrapper, Flourish, Tableau or similar off-the-shelf chart creating tools Have a journalism degree or equivalent newsroom work experience
