Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge Qualifications:

· Appropriate technical qualification e.g. City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ (NQF Level 2) or relevant experience
· Supervisory Management qualification NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable
· Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (CITB)
· Developing Risk Assessments and Method Statements to satisfy Employer’s standards
· Collation and completion of Lifetime Records
· Good computer skills are essential using MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook, MSTeams

Will need to hold a valid CCNSG Safety Passport

Will need to be CTC vetted or willing to undergo CTC vetting

Attributes & Experience:

· Experience of supervising a team in an operations/health physics/industrial environment
· Supervising C2 and C3 works
· Undertake the role of Radiation Protection Supervisor to keep exposure of team members to ionising radiations as low as reasonably practical. Training can be provided.
· Work to the requirements of Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) and the Radioactive Substances Act (RSA) through approved and established procedures
· Ensure that all team members comply with the appropriate safety documentation, local safety instructions and requirements for general safety
