The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Clerical Officer to join the Medical A&C Ward at University Hospital Wishaw

To provide a comprehensive administrative service to the medical and nursing teams within the ward environment

Contract type:

Band 2 / Permanent / Part Time / 20 hours (Monday - Friday 10am to 2pm)

What we'll need you to bring:

Good basic education. Basic understanding of office procedures. Proficient in use of Software systems. Good organisational and communication skills.

It would be good if you also had:

Educated to Higher grade level or experience in a similar role NHS clerical experience or administration experience General office experience Knowledge and understanding of a range of processes and procedures Working Knowledge of Trak Care Well-developed interpersonal skills in customer care Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative Ability to work under pressure Ability to work as part of a team Ensure confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion at all times Flexible with ability to work unsociable hours including weekends and public holidays
