A day in the life of…

As Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible of leading the housekeeping team and being a key member of the Hotel’s Management team. You will display a proactive and innovative approach to skill development and enhancement in your team while accurately assessing needs of the business in terms of staffing and ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained and monitored throughout the hotel. Finally, you will co-ordinate constructively with both reception and reservations so that the day-to-day operational requirements are successfully delivered.

Based in the newly refurbished Mercure Chester Abbots Well Hotel, you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock. 

The hotel has got 126 bedrooms including suites and studio rooms, 9 conference rooms for up to 230 guests, a restaurant, a bar and a Leisure Club

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role ideally in a branded hospitality environment
  • Familiarity with cleaning procedures, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

**Please note this role is being offered on a full time basis. As such, we will only be accepting applicants who are age 18 or above, have no restrictions on their working hours and are flexible to work on the weekends when required**
