Job specificaccountabilities:

  • Toensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired to the higheststandards
  • Attend to callouts as and wheninstructed and to the time phase imposed within48hrs
  • Carry out scheduled service of equipmentas and when the department is in need forexample when there is highdemand of another engineer is off sick or onA/L
  • Report to GMM immediately before putting amachine out of order.
  • Report to GMM immediatelyif parts are needed.
  • Assistance in orderingparts/tools for GMM
  • Upload reports in iAuditorincluding photos and videos onsite.
  • Immediately raise awareness of anycustomer dissatisfaction and report toGMM.
  • Partake in all van stock audits in linewith responsibilities and request of partsrequired.
  • Be familiar with M8 external policiesand procedures including any relevant risk assessmentsand health& safety requirements.
  • Proactivelycover technical and customer issues.
  • Beavailable for calls and to give advice to other maintenancetechnicians to help ensure aquick and reliable solution tofixes

As demand requires but aminimum of 1 day a week ensure completion of excels withaccurateparts and prices to the GM department so quotes can be raised toclients within a deadline of or before 2 weeks. If excel is takinglonger than the required time frame this is to reported to GMM andreasons why so client can be updated

Befamiliar with M8 external policies and procedures including anyrelevant risk assessmentsand health & safetyrequirements

  • Collate and create healthand safety documents such as RAMS periodically update anensureprotocol for parts refurbishment including operating and loneworking on Lathe
  • High level of interpersonalskills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipswith Motive8 clients/customers and alsocolleagues
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction forGM customers buying refurbished parts
  • Toproactively review all part refurbishment procedures andpolicies
  • Assist in the install of gymequipment: R&R or new as deemed necessary by thebusiness
  • Carry out all reasonable requests byManagement

SkillRequirements:

  • Remain atechnical skill level that reflects current innovations and productlaunches from manufacturers which included but are not limited to:Technogym Life fitness Octane Startrac Concept 2 Matrix Fitness andCybex.
  • An ambitious individual that isselfmotivated with a positive and resilient outlook that is able todemonstrate analytical skill for continuous improvement and iswilling to go that extra mile.
  • Have a goodlevel of commercial and customer awareness that is committed tosuccess that puts the customer at the centre of the operationwhilst ensuring good business practice.
  • Readunderstand and sign all method statements and risk assessmentsrelating to the job. Sign to that effect.
  • To befamiliar with and adhere to health and safety procedures of boththe company and the client.
  • To providesuggestions on how to improve procedures to managementteam.
  • High level of interpersonal skills withthe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Motive8clients/customers andcolleagues
