Senior IT Specialist

Position : ITSpecialist

Location :Quantico VA/JEH Washington DC

PositionRequirements

Install desktopsportable computers peripherals and software products fornetworked

classified and unclassified andstandalone environments.

Detect diagnoseresearch solutions and resolve desktop and portable computersoftware and

hardware failures.

Provide users with information guidance and instructionon use of desktop and portable

computerhardware and software.

Analyze and assesscustomer service requests and provide prompt technicalsolutions.

Conduct IT audits as assigned incompliance with policies governing the administration

utilization and acquisition of desktop and portablecomputer products.

Prepare progress/statusreports and submit to team leads as required.

Utilize troubleticketing software for opening/updating/closingtickets in a timely and

appropriatemanner.

Identify and document areas for processimprovements.

Contact and effectivelycommunicate with users by telephone electronic communications orin

person.

Prepareequipment for reuse or surplus of property actions.

Provide technical support for customers assigned toremote locations as required.

Perform softwareand hardware upgrades and installations involving multiplecomputers

printers multiprinters andperipherals.

Coordinate the disassembly andreinstallation of IT equipment in support of officerelocations

and newbuildings/locations.

Ability to lift up to50lbs must be physically able to walk squat bend twist lift crawlunder

desks reach out and above head carryitems push and pull carts loaded withequipment.
