Duties/Responsibilities

Location: British Sugar Factory, Wissington
Salary: £13 per hour
Working hours: 7.30-16.00h Monday-Friday

What you’ll do: 

-The ability to do overtime when required by factory demand. 
-The ability to be part of the call out rota. 
-Full UK driving license.
•Ensure efficient and timely completion of work
•Experienced welder, with good working knowledge of British Sugar welding procedures and documentation. Have a recognised welding inspection capability
•Competent fabricator / pipefitter welder.
•Resilient under pressure 
•Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures. 
•Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
•Ensure that the company’s Health & Safety policy is properly implemented and adhered to.
•Ensure all EMCOR policies, procedures and standards are in place and adhered to. 
•Be enthusiastic and committed, providing a professional, high quality service to the Company and Client.
•Ensure all employee responsibilities in the EMCOR Code of Conduct are complied with.

Who you’ll be:
•Strong understanding of Health & Safety
•Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
•Full UK Driving License

Other Factors:
•The ability to do overtime when required by factory demand. 
•The ability to be part of the call out rota. 
•Relevant Welding qualification, codes and experience to perform welding activities found in the sugar factory including chemical and steam pipework ( PSSR)

•Experience within a similar role.
•Must be a highly motivated self-starter
