Overview

Support Manager - Peripatetic - North Region

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £36,000 per annum + 2k car allowance.

Reporting to: Op’s Director

Location: Field based predominantly across the North Region:-

Worcestershire Birmingham Staffordshire Chesire Wirral Liverpool

Reporting to: Regional Operations Director (North) Responsible for: N/A Working closely with the Regional Operations Directors to assist with supporting/managing schemes or registered locations across the regions depending on the needs of the business. Helping to review processes, supporting with action plans, and budget and business objectives, assisting to prepare and open new services or registered locations, assisting with inducting new colleagues.

You will also use your skills and experience to use data analysis to help inform decisions and assist with the implementation of processes, to embed systems and additional needs to ensure our people we support receive the highest standards of support. As this role is field based you will be required to work on or off site, including regular visits to the services.

The proportion of your time, number, and frequency of visits to services will be agreed in conjunction with your Line Manager.

Overall, Purpose To support the North Region (and other regions as required) to deliver high quality care to ensure that the physical, social, psychological, and emotional needs of the People we Support are met in an independent living context.

Providing Support

Provide interim and ongoing support to selected services or registered locations, including those with vacant leadership positions. Support the local teams to drive quality of services by effective leadership and promoting best practice in line with the Aspirations Policies and Procedures. As designated, to take on the registration of support with the CQC. Ensure compliance and delivery of service in accordance with regulatory and company standards, promoting our values and behaviours. To deliver excellent service in line with quality and commercial expectations. Escalating any issues, concerns, or feedback to operational and support function leads. Supporting the recruitment and induction process for new Starters or internal promotions. To manage the budget of the registration and ensure the business remains viable and to meet and exceed the key performance indicators for people, quality, and performance, where required. To be part of the operational regional on call, at Tier 3 Level, escalating to SEER as required.

Accountability

To lead, manage, supervise, and support all team members providing support to adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and other complex needs. To ensure that each person we support receives the care and support that is appropriate to his or her assessed individual needs. To ensure that an effective “on call” system is in operation, to include taking personal responsibility when required. Ensure that the services have trained and competent staff at all times ensuring all people we support needs are met through effective rotas. To implement and ensure there are clear channels of communication between the services, support functions and management. To meet our local authority contractual and CQC requirements Work with external and internal partners, such as health agencies, family stakeholders and local authorities.
