Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: M1 to UP3 (Paid to scale)
Start Date: September 2024

About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a qualified Teacher of History for a full-time, long-term position in Hull starting in September. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and develop their interest in historical studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school events.

As a Successful Candidate:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience in teaching History at secondary level.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
