What you can expect as a Project Manager:

As our new Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple projects across the UKDS group of businesses in accordance with defined business priorities. Overall, ensuring that all customer and business objectives are delivered within agreed timescales.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead, co-ordinate and drive cross-functional project teams to deliver optimal project performance. Deliver projects within scope, on time and within agreed budget. Build relationships and engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver client-facing and business projects in accordance with defined deliverables adopting industry recognised methodology.  Work alongside group functions to delivery common goals. Prepare, administer and maintain project documentation including project initiation documents, project plans, issue, risk, change, actions logs and the provision of impact analysis to meet project governance standards. Identify, own and mitigate project risks and issues to avoid project slippage and / or increased costs. Escalating risks and issues to the Head of Programme Management as appropriate. Review and consider change requests, costs and impact to project prior to escalating to Head of Programme Management. Compile project highlight reports and project trackers to support project governance. Plan project resource and scheduling to make the most efficient use of resources Support system and user acceptance testing as required. Develop effective relationships with colleagues throughout the business in order to ensure business support for project delivery.

Things we need from you:

Proven track record of delivery within a change orientated role, ideally within the financial services sector. Excellent planning and project management skills Ability to communicate and influence at all levels and build relationships.  Commercially aware and possessing sound business acumen. Change orientated and ability to make change happen. Strong verbal communication and negotiating skills. Qualified to an industry standard in project management (desirable, not essential).
