Job Description:

Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary school located in Hatfield, seeking a Spanish Teacher to start immediately or in September 2024 in a Part-time position(2 days per week), who will have the opportunity to ignite students' passion for the Spanish language and culture. And deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that immerse students in the language, focusing on developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. With your expertise and enthusiasm, you will inspire students to become confident Spanish speakers and develop a deep appreciation for the Hispanic world.

Spanish Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that cater to students' diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to make language learning interactive and enjoyable.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves in Spanish.
  • Provide regular feedback and support to students to help them progress in their language learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate Spanish language and culture into various subject areas.

Spanish Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Spanish.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at the [Insert Level] level.
  • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language, culture, and literature.
  • Spanish Teacher must have a passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for languages.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
