Job Duties:
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons
  • Support individual and small groups of students with their learning

  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching materials
Required Qualifications:
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of child development and learning processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid certification
  • Training in safeguarding children
Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting, collaborating with teachers and other staff members. May involve some physical activity and the need to provide support to students with special educational needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
