Overview:

We arecurrently seeking a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineerto join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial rolein safeguarding our systems data and infrastructure from potentialthreats ensuring the security and integrity of ouroperations.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. SecurityInfrastructureManagement:

    • Maintainand enhance our security infrastructure including firewallsintrusion detection systems and other securitytools.
    • Conduct regular security assessments andaudits to identify vulnerabilities and areas forimprovement.
    • Implement and configure securitymeasures to protect against unauthorized access data breaches andcyberattacks.

  2. IncidentResponse and ThreatManagement:

    • Develop andimplement incident response procedures to effectively addresssecurity breaches and cyber threats.
    • Monitorsystems for suspicious activity and promptly investigate andmitigate security incidents.
    • Stay informedabout the latest cyber threats and security trends and proactivelytake measures to mitigaterisks.

  3. SecurityPolicy Development andCompliance:

    • Develop andenforce security policies standards and procedures in accordancewith industry best practices and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevantdata protection laws regulations and standards such as GDPR and PCIDSS.
    • Provide guidance and support to internalteams on securityrelated matters and bestpractices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Information Technology or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience working in a CyberSecurity Engineer role or similarposition.
  • Strong understanding of networksecurity principles protocols andtechnologies.
  • Experience with security toolsand technologies such as SIEM IDS/IPS antivirus andencryption.
  • Familiarity with regulatorycompliance frameworks and standards particularly in the financialservices sector.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to assess and mitigatesecurity risks effectively.
  • Relevantcertifications (e.g. CISSP CEH CompTIA Security) would beadvantageous.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctionalteams.
