A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Network and Security Analyst in the IT Department, reporting to the Service & IT Operations Manager. The role involves supporting the network infrastructure and providing expert assistance to the IT helpdesk on network and security issues. The analyst will utilize their knowledge IT systems to enhance service quality by resolving problems promptly and implementing preventive measures. Effective communication with customers is crucial.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring system security by maintaining endpoint devices (PCs, laptops, routers) to agreed configuration standards.

Ensuring network routers comply with build standards, focusing on access control list configuration and Cisco IOS versions.

Producing monthly security KPIs detailing compliance status and incidents, including Antivirus and Patch management.

Making responsible and independent decisions.

Investigating recurring issues affecting multiple users or business areas to reduce helpdesk calls and improve customer experience.

Providing clear, understandable communication to customers.

The role requires proactive problem-solving, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
