At L3Harris Flight Data Services, we provide an outsourced Flight Data Monitoring service to aircraft operators worldwide. It is important to deliver insights to customers in a presentable and timely manner, enabling them to take action to reduce costs and improve safety to save lives.

L3Harris Flight Data Services has the largest flight data monitoring platform in the world; the Engineering team supports & develops capabilities and ad-hoc analysis for this platform. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate scrum to the larger team by ensuring the scrum framework is followed. You will be committed to the scrum methodology, agile principles, and best practices, but should also remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflow.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitating all Scrum events and ensuring their effectiveness. Helping to remove obstacles to team members’ progress and protecting the team from distractions. Coaching the teams in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks. Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and self-organization within the team. Working closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, requirements, and expectations. Tracking and communicating team progress, using metrics and tools to monitor velocity, quality, and other relevant performance indicators. Understanding the working practices and processes of the different teams to allow Scrum and Agile to be used in a way that works for the business. Collaborating with the PO to assist with the product backlog when required. Encouraging the organisation to adopt the scrum methodology in their workflow.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent leadership qualities without being authoritative. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to understand and empathize with the team's challenges. Adept at problem-solving and finding solutions. Ability to adapt to change and adjust to the evolving needs of the team. Expertise in effectively facilitating meetings and scrum ceremonies. Experience of coaching and mentoring team members in agile and scrum principles. Ability to manage time effectively. Sc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
