Located on the promenade of the seaside town of Leven in Fife, Leven Beach enjoys picturesque views across the Firth of Forth, adding to the charm of its location. This purpose-built care home provides high quality, personalised nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.
Your role as a Meallmore Hairdresser will include:
Provide high-quality hairdressing services to our residents, including haircuts, styling, perms, colouring, and other salon treatments. Create a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring our residents feel comfortable and relaxed during their appointments. Maintain a clean and organised salon area, following sanitation and hygiene protocols to ensure the safety of our residents. Establish strong relationships with residents, engaging in friendly conversations, and attending to their individual needs. Collaborate with our care team to understand any specific care requirements or limitations for residents when providing hairdressing services.What about you?
Proven experience in providing hairdressing services. SVQ/NVQ in hairdressing desirable but not essential Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanour, able to build rapport and communicate effectively with our residents. Ability to work independently and as part of a caring team to enhance our residents' overall experience. Sensitivity and understanding of the unique needs and preferences of individuals.What we can offer you:
