Are you a final year PGCE student looking to gain exposure in schools upon finishing your degree? Teaching Personnel is working with schools in the West Midlands and is actively recruiting for TA and HLTA roles in Wolverhampton for the remainder of this academic year.
*This is a great opportunity for final year students to find work and gain experience in preparation for the new academic year in September*
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering educational programmes and lessons
- Provide support to students with their learning activities and assignments
- Supervise students during class and in other educational settings
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
- Engage with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with their personal and social development
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure effective classroom management
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Deliver intervention
- Confidence to deliver whole class teaching when required
Requirements
- Strong understanding of individual student needs
- Empathetic and caring nature
- Prior experience teaching
- PGCE degree in-view for 2024
- Relevant knowledge of a wide range of teaching methods
- Adaptability is key for students
We also offer a £100 referral bonus for recommendations of educators suitable for this role upon completion of 10 working days
Teaching Personnel are a leading provider of education staffing; we aim to make a difference everyday through staffing tutoring and supply. Long term and short-term placement opportunities are available, ranging from one term to a full academic year. Schools encourage familiarity for its student and staff bond, so someone looking for a long-term full-time role will be ideal. Safeguarding and other additional training will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
