Refer-a-friend to work in Care

Bury, United Kingdom Unique Training Solutions Full time

We are currently managing a high volume of positions across our Health and Social Care Services in Bury. This means we are constantly looking to speak to people that could be interested in a new job.

Do you have any friends or acquaintances that could be interested? If so, we would love you to pass on their names and enrol you into our refer a friend scheme.

How will we help your referrals:

Our recruitment team are the chosen hiring partner of Bury Council. We manage a number of positions that offer work across elderly care, mental health, learning disabled, reablement, dementia nursing, hospice and end of life care services within Bury.

We work to support vacancies that require drivers and non drivers and all of the positions we support offer the real living wage and above, and offer complete training to support careers.

Who do we need?

Working in care is hugely rewarding, but it is challenging. These positions best suit people that enjoy supporting others and are able to understand how vulnerable people want to remain independent and the care and support they need to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. A lot of the time people need support across all aspects of their basic daily lives from showering, toileting to getting dressed, preparing food and cleaning their homes. You will become that wing person who is not only supporting the day to day but also getting involved with wider activities such as socialising, keeping active, shopping, movies, music and the arts and crafts.

You might not have the time in your own busy lives to work full time, or you may want to consider care and support as a secondary job and offer a few hours a week - what ever you are able to do, we will work to accommodate.

Requirements

The only requirement is that your friend genuinely is looking for work, is able to work in Bury ( and legally in the UK) and will consider a new opportunity working in the Health and Social Care sector.

Our scheme is as follows:

Confirmed and attended interview of referral = £10 Love To Shop Voucher ( emailed or posted to home address)

Offered, accepted and completed employment for a full 4 weeks employment ( subject to hours in employment contract) in one of our care services = £40 Love to Shop Voucher

Please note that you will need to have enrolled the referrals and have confirmation that we have accepted your referrals.

Benefits

To register your referred friend please apply and complete the details required. Please do not forget to log you name and contact details, before making your referral (s).

We will then confirm your enrolment via email or SMS and track your referrals through the hiring process and keep you posted.
