Job summary
The Integrated Urgent Crisis Response Service (IUCRS) are looking to recruit enthusiastic, forward thinking team players to join our dynamic service. The IUCRS are a multi-disciplinary admission avoidance service.
We currently have two posts available: one permanent position and one fixed term until 31st March 2024
We are looking for a Physiotherapists who are motivated to achieve their full potential. You will need to possess clear clinical reasoning and good assessment skills. It is preferable, but not essential, that you have experience of working in a community setting although we would welcome applicants with all levels of experience.
It is expected that you will have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with a variety of service users of different age groups, have good self-management skills.
You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical and leadership skills and be actively involved in service development. It is essential that you are a car driver with access to a vehicle for work as you will be expected to travel across the North East Essex area.
The key objectives for this post are to provide care and support to patients within their own home, avoiding the need for them to come into hospital for admission.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for managing patients with a range of conditions including neurological, orthopaedic (trauma and elective), respiratory and elderly rehabilitation.
You will be working as part of an integrated team with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse practitioners, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Associate Practitioners, Assistant Practitioners, Community Support Workers, Community Matrons, and other specialist services.

oRegistered member of British Association oRecognised registered qualification and further courses and experience relevant to role
