Outwood Academy Riverside is an 11-16 provision which opened in September 2020 as part of the Free Schools Programme. As part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust, the academy provides an exceptional provision for young people in our local community, ensuring Students first: raising standards and transforming the lives of children, in the heart of Middlesbrough. At the start of each academic year all students are inducted into the Riverside values program. We are recruiting exceptional individuals who will join our family here at Riverside. This is an incredibly exciting and unique opportunity.
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the buildings are secure, tidy and fit for purpose. Your duties will work in line with health and safety requirements to maintain the school grounds and take remedial action where hazards are identified.
The successful candidate would ideally have experience of site maintenance or a related trade. Working hours will include evening and occasional weekend work but full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
Outwood Academy Riverside is currently at Russell Street, Middlesbrough. A new, state of the art, school will be built on Pioneering Way, adjacent to Middlesbrough College. In the interim, as the school grows, we will have a satellite site in Eston, opening in September 2024. Appointed staff will be deployed to work at that site. There is not a vast distance between the two sites and it will be a ‘mirror image’ of everything Riverside is about.
