You will support the Senior Commercial Analyst within the Aggreko Energy Services (AES) team on a diverse range of topics, from data analysis to researching new potential strategies and resolving billing issues, you will be at the heart of the day to day running of AES.

You’ll work to build the models and valuation tools that allow us to evaluate and priceinnovative Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures. You’ll also deliver market analysis which allows us to identify commercial opportunities along with bringing forward insightful reporting of the performance of our operational assets, so AES continually improves its commercial proposition.

Responsibilities 

Deliver power market intelligence - providing insight to the wider AES commercial team on trends, risks and developments.

Monitor operational assets to ensure AES extracts maximum value and provideconcise MI on commercial KPIs

Support the Senior Commercial Analyst and Commercial Manager with accessing all available revenue streams (Contracts for Difference, Capacity Market and REGOs)

Ensure a smooth transition into operations for all AES development assets

Support AES’ metering requirements and help establish a robust commercial billing process

Support the wider AES team on all pricing assumptions used in all modelling (forecasts, budgets, M&A, development models)

Key performance indicators 

Accurate and high quality analysis provided to the wider AES in a regular and concise format

All metering related risks are identified and addressed so as to not become a bottle neck with billing and/or developing assets

Trends in the market are identified early and thus AES is always on the front foot when considering strategic options

All modelling assumptions (and key risks) are clearly identified and understood

AES projects move seamlessly through to Commercial Operations under the terms of thePPAs

Location : Remote based, must be willing to travel in UK (notably London) and European trips as required

What we’re looking for

Experience in the UK energy markets desirable 

Demonstrate analytical curiosity with a high level of attention detail

Flexibility and a willingness to contribute on a range of projects/applications

Have a drive to learn and develop new skills in a fast paced environment

Be able to cut through complex subject matters to provide actionable commercial insight and recommendations from a variety of datasets and self-conducted analysis
