Job Title: Commercial Data Analyst - Hours to Cash
Location: Middlesbrough
Reporting To: Digital Lead
Department: ICT/Digital
Permanent

Main Job Purpose

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to support Altrad in its Digital journey, with this is a new role which focuses on the use of Data and Digital systems and process to protect and enhance Altrad margin. You will work a key business process, Hours to Cash / Estimate cash and engage with all parts of the business to identify improvement opportunity, data errors and good practice which will be embedded across the Altrad operating rhythm.

You will also work closely with our Operational and functional teams to support the digitisation of their processes, enabling them to becoming more efficient. This position can facilities a rapid carer progressing within the business with opportunities to advance to senior Commercial or Operational leadership positions.


Role Level - Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive Excellence though effective and efficient use of systems and processes.
• Master end to end commercial processes, identifying improvements and failures.
• Overall accountable for the key process, holding functional and operational teams to account for changes and error rectifications.
• Outcome focus on the improvements that can be made. .
• Monthly process KPI reporting on processes successes, failures and required actions

• Daily and Weekly monitoring of process data and direct engagement to resolve people, process and technology challenges.

• Testing, Validation, Documentation of process and system changes which impact the process

• Training our commercial, operational and functional teams in correct operating procedure and positively engage with adhoc training as required.

• Directly correct data quality issues and engage with functional / support teams to ensure data is correctly in a timely manner.

• Strong technical acumen and the ability to analyse complex situations and effectively solve problems and drive an excellence culture.
• Data focused and oriented, able to understand and interpret complex data and the impact it has on key processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thought process.
• Experience of successfully working with a variety of stakeholders and able to communicate complex information simply
• Pragmatic approach, able to balance the ideal with the reality of what is needed today.
• Demonstrable ability to thrive in a complex, rapidly changing and demanding Globally integrated (but not centralised) business environment.
• Working with Data, producing, enhancing and supporting with PowerBi reporting.
• Understand the process of acquiring, cleansing, and transforming data.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience of commercial operating rhythms
• Experience / Background / Degree within the Finance/Commerical/Engineering/Construction/Industrial Services/QS or Project Controls
