About the role

Benefact Group are looking for a Group Procurement Advisor to join our Gloucester office.

In this role you will support the Group in conducting procurement activities, providing oversight and guidance to the Group on supplier relationship management and managing the P2P solution and process.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage supplier and business relationships within defined risk tiers.
  • Ensure key procurement activities are completed within risk appetite for onboarding third parties and completing ongoing assurance checks.
  • Lead sourcing, benchmarking and competitive tenders when required.
  • Be an expert in the P2P process ensuring knowledge of systems and processes and drive continuous improvement, whilst providing support to the business.
  • Support the Group Procurement Manager with reporting requirements for P2P, SRM Framework and other procurement related risks.
Knowledge, skills and experience
  • Relevant experience in a procurement role, preferably in financial services sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of procurement.
  • High level of accuracy in preparing and managing procurement documentation.
  • Effective negotiation skills utilised with third parties to drive best value in goods and services.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective influencing and communication skills.
