Job Description
The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions. This role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI to meet business requirements
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies and decisions.
- Optimise Power BI solutions for performance, ensuring quick load times and efficient data processing.
- Develop and maintain data models, integrate data from various sources, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with the BI Manager to deliver on set objectives and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business
Qualifications
- 1+ / 2+ years experience in an analytical/developer focused role.
- Experience working with any of the following: Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Looker.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Stakeholder Management.
- Experience with BI Best Practices (Preferable).
- Financial Services experience (Preferable).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and query performance tuning skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt quickly to project and priority changes.
- Highly responsive and adaptable team player.
