GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic maths graduates for a local secondary school based in Dorchester to join their Future Teacher Programme. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in education while making a real difference in the lives of students.

As a Trainee Teacher you will support the experienced maths faculty in delivering engaging lessons and receiving excellent teacher training for your future career in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils.
  • Provide support to students who need extra help with Maths concepts.
  • Help maintain a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management.
  • Contribute to the overall welfare and development of students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Mathematics or related discipline.
  • Passion for education and helping young people succeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience of working in a school setting is advantageous but not essential.
