 About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll step in to support classes whenever needed, working closely with teachers to ensure pupils continue to thrive in their learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils with their learning.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support.
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as required.

This role offers flexibility, allowing you to choose assignments that suit your availability while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.

  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Adaptable, reliable, and able to work effectively in a range of classrooms.
  • Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic.
  • (Desirable) Experienced in working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • (Desirable) Familiar with supporting pupils with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
