Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a English Teacher for a Secondary school within a large school in South Bristol.

The school is a relatively large setting with just under 1200 students on roll. With the school being well established, popular choice for local families, it offers a solid network and community of expertise within and one where it allows for uniqueness to the indvidiual school from it's exceptional staff team of leadership, teachers & support staff.

The school are looking for an English specialist to join their department to deliver to KS3 & KS4. This will include a regular tutor group, planning & marking - which will include a timetable that PPA time is allocated for, as well as extra curricular available if desired.

ECT's are encouraged to apply for this role as well as experienced teachers, where you will be joining a thriving and supportive department which consits of a strong balance of leaders, ECT's and experienced teachers.

Role: English Teacher (Secondary, KS3-KS4)

Location: South Gloucestershire (Easy commute from Kingswood, Hanham, Mangotsfield, Downend & Speedwell.

Hours: Monday - Friday 830am - 330pm (O.8/0.6 & part time applicants are urged to apply)

Start date: Wednesday 4th September (Induction days 2nd & 3rd)

Qualifications: PGCE with QTS/QTLS (non QTS, lecturer's, BA/MSc in English and English Specialists are also urged to apply)

- Utilises a variety of teaching methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions

- Be an advocate and inspirational leader within their subject

- Excellent behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.

- Knowledge of AQA exam board and leader within GCSE's

- Confident in supporting pupils with SEND and how to support and differentiate within the mainstream classroom
