About Procurement:

As part of this new chapter and under the leadership of the current Procurement Director, the Procurement function has been centralised to form a best-in-class high performing team with big ambitions. We now need to take our key stakeholders on that new journey with us. Helping them navigate new processes, understand  new ways of working whilst meeting business demands in an agile way.  

 

Role Purpose:

 

The primary responsibility of the Head of Indirect is to act as the POC, overseeing the end-to-end procurement process and developing strong stakeholder partnerships across all Indirect Categories. The role includes executing the local buying strategies to ensure effective procurement services that support business agility, speed-to-market, drive compliance, manage commercial risk, and deliver value for money.

This role will require the individual to take responsibility for overseeing all indirect categories to promote efficient procurement practices across the organization. This includes setting procurement standards, building stakeholder relationships and integrating sustainability into all procurement activities.


We require someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and who is able to embrace ambiguity whilst fostering collaboration across teams. We are still very much on a transformation journey so it’s a real opportunity to make an impact. To do this effectively you’ll need to be adaptable, collaborative, and able to evolve procurement approaches to solve complex business problems, sometimes with very little notice. Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively are essential to support and influence various teams.

 

 


Key Responsibilities: Head of Indirect, Marketing & Social Value Lead will be responsible for:

 

· Indirect Procurement Strategy: Developing and executing procurement strategies for indirect categories such as Marketing, Corporate Affairs, FM, Professional Services to ensure alignment with Allwyn’s business goals and sustainable procurement objectives. Includes capturing detailed requirements of business needs and taking all the way through to third-party contracting.  Drive commercial negotiations and support contract drafting with Legal, ensuring favorable terms and pricing. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and maintain supplier agreements within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with contractual terms

· Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across all levels, supporting indirect procurement needs, and ensuring that procurement strategies align with cross-functional business objectives.

·  Sustainability and Social Value Integration: Establishing sustainable procurement best practices in line with Allwyn’s Social Value framework across our supply base.

·  Procurement Compliance & Policy: Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and processes, managing supplier diversity, setting metrics to measure compliance, and fostering a data-driven approach to supplier selection and performance.

· Supplier Management: supporting supplier onboarding and management processes across indirect categories, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and driving supplier performance improvements.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with Legal, Finance, Social Value, Regulatory Affairs and other internal teams to ensure procurement efforts are well-integrated and support Allwyn’s overall mission.

Requirements

·       10 years of procurement experience across indirect categories with a expertise in Marketing

·       Experience of leading a team

  • Ability to consolidate complex information and present back in a easy to understand way to senior stakeholders
  • Strong background in sustainable procurement practices and Social Value
  • Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiations across various categories
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency with procurement software (Ariba/SAP, Coupa preferred) and strong analytical skills

·       Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage projects to successful completion in an evolving environment
