Tutor - SEMH

Pro1 Education is dedicated to providing high-quality educational support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor to join an OFSTED rated 'Good' Alternative Provision based in Warwick that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs between the ages of 11-16. This is a long term and permanent role for the right candidates.

Pay: £140-160 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored educational programmes that meet the individual needs of SEMH pupils.
• Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff, to create holistic support plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and their families.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, helping them to build confidence and resilience.

Requirements

• Previous experience teaching or tutoring within an educational setting
• Previous experience working within an alternative provision (ideal)
• Right to work in the UK
• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Qualified Teacher Status is ideal.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children
• Experience working with SEND pupils
