The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic school environment located in the heart of Westminster, starting in April. Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to a diverse group of students, ensuring active participation and inclusive learning.
- Create a supportive and creative learning environment that encourages students' musical exploration and development.
- Plan and deliver music activities, workshops, and performances to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of music.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them grow as musicians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and events.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular music activities, such as choirs, bands, and school performances.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive educational community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification or qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality music lessons.
- Sound knowledge of music theory, genres, instruments, and music technology.
- Ability to effectively use technology and digital resources to support music teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
