Water Recycling Operator

Do you enjoy working outdoors and have resilience to adverse weather conditions? Are you able to deal with challenging situations and physical work? Do you have excellent decision-making, reporting and communication skills? If so, we are looking for a Water Recycling Operator to cover the Chard/Crewkerne area.

What you'll do

Based in Chard, your role will involve:

the operation and maintenance of conventional sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards running advanced wastewater treatment and sludge process plants ensuring compliance with company policy, processes and procedures ensure the health, safety and welfare of all colleagues, the public and yourself at all times working outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends.

What you'll need

You will need experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.

Electrical or mechanical experience would be desirable, but confined spaces training will be provided.

You will also need:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject to be happy working outside in all conditions a valid driving licence, ideally with category BE to be flexible in your approach to work.
