Main duties of the job

Our Recovery Workers work with our service users to help them to determine what their goals, ambitions and passions are, working with them to create the best treatment plan for their needs and to get them back onto the path to recovery. This is an integral role for With You - as a frontline worker, you will deliver continuity of care through effective partnership working, care coordination, delivery of interventions and key work responsibilities. You will manage an active caseload of service users, connecting quickly with the people we support, treating them respectfully and with dignity.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Please note that this role may close early should sufficient applications be received, so early application is advised. This is a fixed term contract, until March 2025. The successful candidate will be working with people across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, who are either homeless or at risk of eviction, from either Temporary Accommodation or Supporting People housing. Key responsibilities will include case management, harm reduction and assertive outreach. You will also be supporting people to access rapid prescribing and bespoke PSI support, as well as undertaking multi agency working and delivering appropriate interventions, at the right time, to support individuals towards stability, safety and wellbeing. You will enable service users to access pre treatment support, with ongoing support to access inpatient detox and rehabilitation. Qualifications

Essential

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Experience

Essential

You will be a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. We're looking for demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, ideally with those with substance misuse issues. You will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and able to manage your time effectively, working as part of a team to ensure a high quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do, with a positive and engaging approach to our service users and key stakeholders.
