We’re a venture-funded startup on a mission to transform compliance for regulated brands, turning what’s often seen as a frustrating, manual process into something powerful and creative.

In industries like financial services, marketing is highly regulated, making it difficult for brands to reach customers while staying compliant. That’s where we come in. Leveraging Generative AI and agentic workflows, we eliminate the blockers that slow down marketing workflows, empowering brands to be more creative, faster, and fully compliant. With major clients like Plum, Freetrade, and CreditSpring already onboard, we’re growing fast. Now, we’re looking for top talent to help us push the boundaries of Generative AI and revolutionise how brands approach compliance. That’s where you come in.

Responsibilities

You’ll take ownership of all AI development at adclear, steering the technical direction and evolution of our AI solutions. You’ll set the industry benchmark for accuracy in compliance models across the UK, always staying on top of new developments in AI. You’ll have the freedom to try things, break things, and move quickly, all while pushing boundaries to ensure adclear.ai remains at the forefront of AI-driven compliance solutions. This includes:

  • Designing and implementing methods thatʼll power up our generative AI workflow to enhance our speed and response accuracy.
    • Weʼre talking about getting your hands dirty with the following: LLMs, prompt engineering, RLHF, RAG, computer vision, multi-modal models etc.
  • Building sturdy data pipelines for all things related to data - collection, cleaning, preprocessing, augmentation, specifically curated for compliance tasks.
  • Writing, testing, deploying, debugging and monitoring top-quality software code. Your work will be a crucial part of the fluid experience we're promising.
  • Writing and maintaining clean, scalable code in backend (Node.js) environments to support AI model integration into the platform.
  • Setting up thorough validation frameworks. We need to ensure our generative AI infrastructure is robust, accurate, and ready to take on the world.
  • Keeping up with the Joneses. And by Joneses, we mean the latest in generative AI and machine learning. We want adclear to be at the forefront of tech innovation.
  • Collaborating closely with our customers to align AI developments with user needs and business goals.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive, problem-solving mindset, and the drive to take initiative. You’ll need to be a self-starter who knows how to get things done but also someone who fits our culture. We’re passionate about building a diverse team, so we’re especially keen to hear from candidates who bring fresh perspectives and aren't afraid to break the mould.

  • A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in AI, Computer Science and other related fields or a track-record that speaks louder than any degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in AI-focused roles, ideally within a startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience in generative AI, with a deep love for LLMs, reinforcement learning and prompt engineering.
  • Solid Python skills and proficiency with data science and ML frameworks like NLTK, Matplotlib, Numpy, Pandas, spaCy, TensorFlow, Keras or PyTorch.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Remember, while we're excited to see these skills, they aren't necessary prerequisites. We're looking for fast learners and doers who are up for a challenge

  • Proficiency in frontend coding (React, TypeScript).
  • Knowledge of web development and database tech (e.g. JavaScript, React, TypeScript, Node, Next, PostgreSQL, etc..).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, especially when it comes to deploying and scaling ML models.
  • Expertise in classic machine learning models is a plus when dealing with smaller datasets.
  • Having built/led teams in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with creative tools e.g. Figma.
  • Experience working with agile methods.
