A bit about what you
will do...



  • As required, to receive goods from all
    suppliers. As far as possible time slots need to be agreed with suppliers and
    the Head Chef (where applicable), so that delivery is carried out within the
    stores opening hours.
  • Carry out a visual check of commodities for
    quality/freshness and packaging. Use provided check and quality form from Main
    Kitchen to record any food discrepancies including HACCP.
  • Check temperatures and use by dates and recorded
  • Carry out random weight checks on a regular
    basis and report any discrepancies to senior chef
  • Goods & Food deliveries must be checked
    against relevant Purchase Order with any shortages or damages recorded and
    communicated as soon as possible directly to relevant Head of Department.
  • Must receive and check all deliveries. All
    perishables and non[1]perishables should be spot-checked upon
    arrival.
