Zenith Energy is seeking aSenior Production Technologist to provide Wells OperationsReadiness support for the preplanning startup commissioningmonitoring and surveillance phases of three upcoming projects. Thisrole involves both parttime hours during business hours in thepreplanning and postcommissioning phases (lasting several months)and 12hour shifts 7 days a week during the well commissioning phase(lasting one or moreweeks).

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Supportwell operations readiness for preplanning of well startup andcommissioning.
  • Prepare well startupplans procedures contingency and troubleshootingguides.
  • Provide 24hour supportduring well startup including responding to anomalies confirmingoperability and integrity and managing wells withinlimits.
  • Split 24hour support intotwo 12hour shifts per day.
  • Manageclose out and handover post wellcommissioning.
  • Ensure all activitiesare conducted safely andefficiently.

ProjectTimeline:

  • Project1: RFSU March 2025
  • Project 2: RFSUAugust 2025
  • Project 3: RFSU November2025

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Provenexperience in production technology and welloperations.
  • Strong understanding ofwell startup and commissioningprocesses.
  • Prior experience in wellor system monitoring andreporting.
  • Understanding of wellintegrity issues and wellmodeling.
  • Excellent problemsolvingand analytical skills.
  • Ability towork effectively in a dynamic teamenvironment.

Production Technologist Experience with an operator during RFSUExperience of well surveillance for management and operation ofwells Ability to monitor performance and understand well operatingparameters o Use of excel o Use of Production database(Babelfish/P2) Ability to identify and assess integrity issues froman approved baseline o Understanding of production and technicalintegrity limits and monitoring requirements for a well and whythey are necessary o Ability to assess the consequences if theselimits are breached. Capable of updating and running wellperformance/integrity models such as Prosper/Gap, NETool andWellcat. o Ability to create the models is not required as thesewill be handed over as-built and for use from D&C engineers.Competencies Good organisational and documentation skills Problemsolver Proactive, self-starter Lateral thinker Commitment to HSEand Company Values
