Job Title:              Class 2 Demonstration Driver / Trainer
Hours:                  M-F Days 7am-3pm / 8am-4pm (39hrs per week)
Salary:                  £33,385 + Bonus + Van + Fuel Card

Location:             Based in the North of England (Blackpool/Liverpool/Manchester/Leeds/York)

Overall purpose of the job of the Class 2 Demonstration Driver / Trainer

Promote municipal products to customers through effective demonstration and highlighting the key features. This will take place at customer sites throughout the Northwest in all weathers
               
Responsibilities of the Class 2 Demonstration Driver / Trainer  
     
  • Travelling to customer sites throughout the Northwest (including Scotland) to demonstrate new municipal equipment (road sweepers)
  • Train customers and operators in the safe and efficient use of municipal products (you will spend several hours with customers)
  • Liaise onsite with vehicle operators, sales managers and senior management
  • Prepare and clean demonstration machines as required
  • Ability to travel and stay away from home (all expenses paid)
  • Initial 6 months will involve learning about all the products, shadowing other demo drivers and being shadowed in the role

Experience required for the Class 2 Demonstration Driver /Trainer
  
  • Class 2 HGV Licence (Essential)
  • Happy to work remotely although part of a team based across the UK
  • Strong communicator and be comfortable client facing
  • You must be based in the North of England (Blackpool/Liverpool/Manchester/Leeds/York)
  • Knowledge / experience of the commercial vehicle / municipal or plant sector beneficial
  • Qualified or time served HGV / Plant Technician would be beneficial
  • Previous experience gained in a demonstration driver / trainer role or similar would be highly beneficial
