Learning support assistants needed to work in secondary schools in Stockport due to an increased demand in their learning support team.

If you have previous experience as a learning mentor, teaching assistant or working with young people please apply to be considered. The SEN department have identified a need for additional team members for their SEN team to work with students that have moderate learning difficulties in the areas of social emotional mental health, behaviour, dyslexia and ADHD. There are opportunities for both part time and full time roles commencing in April through to September.

Situated in the SK6 post code of Stockport the school has public transport routes via train and bus and can be located just off the M60 and A6. Learning support assistants work within an SEN team meeting on a weekly basis and delivering specific tailored support to students with educational health care plans.
