Themis recruit arecurrently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical NegligenceSolicitor to join our legal team. As a Clinical NegligenceSolicitor you will be responsible for handling cases related tomedical malpractice ensuring that clients who have suffered harmdue to healthcare negligence receive expert legal representation.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinicalnegligence law possess excellent analytical and communicationskills and be committed to obtaining justice for clients affectedby medicalerrors.

  1. ClientConsultation:

  • Conductinitial consultations with clients to assess the viability ofclinical negligenceclaims.
  • Provideclear and comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding theirpotentialcases.

  1. CaseManagement:

  • Investigateand analyse medical records evidence and relevantdocumentation.
  • Buildand manage a caseload of clinical negligence cases ensuringdeadlines aremet.
  • Liaisewith medical experts witnesses and other professionals to gathernecessaryinformation.

  1. LegalResearch andAnalysis:

  • Stayupdated on relevant laws regulations and precedents related toclinicalnegligence.
  • Conductlegal research to support case strategies and provide accurateadvice.

  1. NegotiationandSettlement:

  • Negotiatesettlements with opposing parties and insurance companies on behalfofclients.
  • Representclients in mediation and settlement discussions aiming to achievefavorableoutcomes.

  1. Litigation:

  • Draftlegal documents including pleadings motions and discoveryrequests.
  • Representclients in court presenting cases before judges and juries whennecessary.

  1. ClientCommunication:

  • Maintainregular communication with clients keeping them informed about theprogress of theircases.
  • Manageclient expectations and provide compassionate support throughoutthe legalprocess.

  1. ComplianceandEthics:

  • Ensurecompliance with legal ethics and professional standards in allaspects of casemanagement.
  • Upholdthe highest standards of professionalism andintegrity.


Requirements
  • Qualifiedsolicitor with up to 8 years of experience in clinical negligencelaw.
  • Strongknowledge of medical malpractice laws andregulations.
  • Excellentanalytical research and communicationskills.
  • Proventrack record of successfully handling clinical negligencecases.
  • Abilityto work independently and collaboratively within ateam.
