Background:
Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E. The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.

Job description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Buyer to join our Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this entry-level position, you will support the buying team in sourcing and purchasing components and supplies essential for our operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your career in procurement within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating purchasing options.
  • Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and processing purchase orders.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier communications.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to meet operational needs effectively.
  • Help resolve any discrepancies with orders and invoices.

Requirements

  • Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • CIPS qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is desirable but not essential.
  • Some experience or internships in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop procurement skills.
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
