SEND Teaching Assistant- Needs/Autism/Physical/Sensory/Communication NeedsLocation:

Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£83.85 - £85 Per day

Job Duties:
  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including those with Autism, Physical, Sensory, and Communication Needs
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Help students with their academic and personal development
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND
  • Experience in implementing behaviour management strategies
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy towards students
Working Conditions:
  • May involve some physical activities such as assisting students with mobility
  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
