Mercian Logistics is part of the Cathay Investments Group and we are looking for someone to join our friendly team as an Warehouse Operative & Counterbalance Driver based at our site in Ross. 

 

The Warehouse Operative & Counterbalance Driver will involve: 

  • Ensure customer goods are loaded and unloaded carefully, identifying any damages or missing items
  • Ensure deliveries are scanned and put into correct run locations
  • Make sure all items are scanned correctly and loaded as per APC load plans
  • Follow the agreed procedure for unloading vans each night, signing off correctly, and complete the warehouse sweep to ensure no items left in the warehouse
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy at all times

As an Warehouse Operative & Counterbalance Driver you will have:

  • Relevant experience within a similar role, or previous experience of working within a process led environment
  • Proven ability to work with minimum of supervision
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management and planning skill

Tuesday to Saturday 04:30 - 13:30

 

As an Warehouse Operative & Counterbalance Driver an FLT licence is required for this role.
