The Lead Nurse provides management and leadership across the four OUH NHS FT sites, for inpatient and outpatient pain services.
Main duties of the job·In conjunction with the Clinical Director, Divisional Director of Nursing and Directorate Manager the post holder will work across organisational boundaries to ensure appropriate services are in place to deliver national and local, strategic, and operational services objectives and standards.
·The Lead Nurse is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the clinical service, delivering on key quality, performance, workforce and financial plans, achieving key service improvements within the Clinical Directorate, line managing designated staff and reporting to the Clinical Director.
·The post holder will provide professional and management leadership in order to achieve the Trust’s corporate objectives and will be expected to make a positive contribution to the delivery of health care through inpatient and outpatient activity across the local health community.
